Hi everyone. It's time for
another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge
is the ever popular Anything Goes!
Can you say old and fun cracked glass technique? I think I ended up putting 4 layers of UTEE on this to get it to crack like that. I buffed some distress vintage photo over it to give an aged appearance. Love how it came out.
There's a new challenge every
week over at The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use
Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy
the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.
One lucky person will win a $25
Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month –
Good luck!
Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.
Thanks for stopping in!
What fun! I had forgotten this technique - thanks for the reminder! Your card is beautiful, Laurie! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFabulous masculine card Laurie, like that cracked glass look and the distressing on top is a great look!
ReplyDeleteLove this - has been so long since I have done a cracked glass - and then the distressing on top, so masculine. Great card for anything goes.
ReplyDeleteOooo . . . this is fabulous!! The technique is awesome (haven't used it in a looooong time, myself) and the neutral colors are perfect with the image.
ReplyDeleteLove the cracked glass technique and the little strips of burlap ribbon on the corners! This is one awesome card!
