I most likely didn't follow the rules on this, but I decided to post it anyway.
The tree stamp is an old one from Memory Box. Stamped in versafine and heat embossed on both cards. I cannot remember where the Santa stamp came from. I think it might be a Victorine Original's but I'm not positive. Anywho, distress oxide inks were used heavily in both cards. To create the snow effect, I mixed some picket fence paint with water and put into a spray bottle, then misted it over the card. You have to seriously let it dry before finishing things off.
In the bottom card, the trees are highlighted with a stardust pen. IRL, they shimmer. Sentiment on the outside is from PTI and inside I stamped "relax."
Thanks for stopping in to take a look see. I appreciate all your comments.
Both of your cards are stunning! I love the Christmas Eve scene, the sky is just amazing as is the moon and I love how the trees line the bottom. Your second card is just gorgeous, I love the skyline and the colors you used. The sentiment is awesome as well, because you really need to breath in that beautiful scene. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYour cards are awesome, Laurie! Let's see now: you made two cards and took a photo of both together; you used the same stamp on both cards; you created two different designs; and your cards are for two different occasions!! You did it!! That was easy! And you did it brilliantly, I might add. I love all the details of the splatters and the incredible blending and colors on your second card! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #6! Hugs, Darnell
