Hi everyone! Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge this week is "things with wings" and here is what I did with it.
Dragonfly die is from Clearly Besotted and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
I blended a few distress inks with my new egg smoothie from Creative Expressions. At first it was a bit difficult using the sponge but I kept at it and changed up my paper until I got something I liked.
I created the texture using bubbles from Dawn dish washing liquid. I filled a shallow Rubbermaid dish with water and added the Dawn and swished it around until I got enough bubbles. Then I laid the card on top of the bubbles and this is the result. I did dry it with my heat gun to speed up the process.
Added some clear dew drops to finish off the card.
Adding this to TGIF Challenge - Cut it out, as well.
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by.
So pretty Laurie! Have a lovely weekend! Hazel xx
