I used 2708-M, Pine Branch to complete the sketch challenge. The stamp is colored with Marvy le Plume markers and spritzed with water and then stamped onto the white card base.
The hello is a die from My Favorite Things. I used some fun foam behind it to give it a bit more dimension. Fishtail banner dies are also from MFT. I dug out some big bigger eyelets from my stash to add some bling to this masculine card.
And now it’s your turn! The rules are really simple… Remember, your creation doesn’t have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them! Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create something using the sketch as your inspiration, upload your card to your blog or Splitcoast gallery, then link it to The House That Stamps Built.
Don't forget to check out what our Rock Stars did with this sketch as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh Laurie...this is SO impressive! There is nothing about this card that doesn't just make me say ooooh. aaaaah.!!! Great job, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLove your pine cone card and pine branch, great man card. Great take on the sketch but then you always seem to nail the sketches.
ReplyDeleteThis is a GREAT masculine card, Laurie!!! I love those big eyelets, they pop the image so well!!! Awesome take on the sketch.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this!! So gorgeous (in a manly sort of way, of course!) I have that pine branch stamp and I'll have to try this technique with it.
