Hello all! I've been stewing on what to do with the color challenge over at Less Is More, which is berry shades and finally came up with something. Of course that meant that I had to buy a new ink pad to do it! ;-)
Yep, caved and bought two of the new Hero Arts Ombre ink pads. One green and the other pink/red. I used just the mid pink and light pink on the solid flower and did the leaves in the green.
Stamp is from Impress Rubber Stamps and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things. Added a bit of pink gingham ribbon, tied a tiny bow with the bow easy and stuck it on with a glue dot.
I added the border to a white 4 x 5.25 sheet of cardstock then popped it up on a normal A2 card base. Simple and quick card.
Thanks for popping in!
Such a cute card, loving your ombre flowers along the base.

I enjoy my ombre ink pads for "certain" things and flowers is one of them, love them with words too, great addition to you ink supply (which is large I bet). Great card and love all the white space at the top.
ReplyDeleteLaurie this is so pretty, and fun to 'have' to buy new stash lol!
