One layer water scene

Hi all! Here is my take on this weeks Less is More challenge. It's one layer week and they want to see water!

Stamps are from Gina K Designs called By the sea 2. I've used this set many many times so it well worth the money.

Stamped the pier and pelican in Jet Black archival ink. the water is made using my cheap water color set and Copic opaque white paint. I just used a stylus to get it out of the jar and squiggle it on like it was froth from the sea.

I did the sun using a circle stencil and yellow and canary ink and a finger dauber. I chose not to fill in the sky and keep it CAS with lots of white space.

To get the shadows and on the pier and under the pelican's perch, I just got out my black primsa colored pencil and drew it on.

Adding this to the Addicted to CAS challenge of Birds, too.

Thanks for stopping by!
