Retro masculine birthday

Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting for a bit, it's been pretty hectic with the day job this past week! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

The car stamp is from the former Angel Company. I stamped it in versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with Copic's. I added some glossy accents to the windshield to simulate glass.

A silver sharpie and the silver wink of stella pen used to add touches of chrome to the car. To get the silver paper layer in the back, I just scribbled on a piece of white cardstock with the silver shar
pie. In real life it shines!

I had to do a search and destroy mission through all of my stamps to find a retro happy birthday stamp and finally came up with one from Verve.

The color combo is inspired by the restaurant scene in the Marvel's Agent Carter show that just debuted. It had a really cool retro vibe to it with the turquoise, silver and black decor. Great show too! ETA: entering this into the showCASe your style color challenge. I just don't have the fourth color, but it's close.

OK, back to the creative process! I've got two thank you cards and an anniversary card to make!

Thanks for stopping by!
