Hi everyone! Here is a mixture of two challenges.
Less is more is doing a "family" theme and the sketch comes from
The Friday Mashup!
One of the sister ducks is leaving the pond, hence the sentiment. Giggle! Anyway, the stamps are from the former There She Goes. I stamped everything in versafine and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then colored with Copic's.
Kept this very clean and simple with a lot of white space. TFM wanted us to use a bit of grunge behind the main panel (which I turned) but thought it would be more fun to create the scene instead.
I did use foam tape to pop up the girls so that they stood out a bit more.

ReplyDeleteLaurie, thanks for your visit & sweet comment (and for catching my longest day boo-boo!- should have been longest nite!) I like your cute scene better than I would have liked 'grunge'. This is simply adorable, and that sentiment is especially cute with the ducks. Delightful. I've had a catheter too, didn't like it much. I think it hurts more for guys...he's still complaining bitterly today. Told him, it was necessary or wouldn't have been done. He's having some after effects too, and we may be heading back to the ER tomorrow if things persist. Or going home to SC where our own drs are. Anyway I wish you & your family a huge Merry Christmas and the best for 2015. TFS & Hugs too.
