Good morning! Here is a card that I came together pretty easily using two different challenges.
I started off picking the colors using the inspiration photo below from The Paper Players. Then used the sketch from Sweet Sunday to put it all together.
Bear stamp and sentiment come from the former Angel Company. He's colored in Copic's and I added some dimension to the dots on his scarf using some glossy accents. He is cut out using a circle nestie and layered with a stitched circle die from Lil' Inkers.
To create the ribbon in the back, I first colored a piece of white satin ribbon with the G24 Copic marker and let it dry. Added the polka dots using the Polka Dot basic's II stamp set from PTI in Memories delicate rose ink. It is a very dark ink color and matched the color of Copic's that I used to color the image. Score!
Copic colors can be seen below. I had to lay then flat since I used a mixture of Ciao and sketch markers. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteI loved this set - well ok I still have it - I "think" I have a serious problem with wanting to keep my old TAC stamps, but there were just so many to love. Great job on this little guy.

ReplyDeleteDarling Christmas card! I love that the strip of patterned paper mimics the dots on the bears scarf and the sentiment is perfect. So glad you shared your creation at The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteThis is a totally sweet geometric and whimsical CC, Laurie! That's so cool how you defined his little scarf to bring out the dots in the fishtail banner!! And your coloring on those wee boots is perfection! Hugs, Darnell
