I'm sitting here waiting for the brown truck to deliver my new work iPhone 6 (signature required) and decided to play with this weeks Freshly Made Sketch, since I had time on my hands.
Stamps are from Verve.
The designer paper is from The Recollections line from Michael's. The dp drove me nuts trying to find cardstock that matched it. I finally gave up and decided to just make my own.
I just took a picture of it and then used Photoshop Elements to pick up the color I wanted. Printed off a 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock and I was good to go! It's the light gray/beige piece in the back.
Added some snow white sequins and we're done!
Mr. Brown delivers end of day at my house (6:30) and I still have about an hour to wait. Ugh! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas tag
Hi everyone! Here is a quick tag I made for the Tag you're it! challenge.
Tag die is from Papertrey, Ink. The "Merry" die is from the Christmas sentiments set from Docrafts. I cut it out of white paper when I first received the set. It sat on my desk for a while and then I got my new spray distress stains and I spritzed it with Barn Door, testing out how they worked. Like them!
Fir tree is from Great Impressions, the berry stamp is from PTI, as is the Christmas sentiment. I did use more distress ink in Vintage Photo to add a bit of interest to make it a bit more rustic. Lastly, the to and from stamps are from TAC.

Nuts about you
Hi everyone! I'm on a roll today! Here's card number 2!
This one is for CAS(e) this sketch #97. Which was a lot of fun to play with!
The stamps and dies are from Lil' Inkers Designs. I cut the shapes out of vintage cream cardstock and then added in the insides of gold and green after sponging on some potting soil ink from Ranger. Next I stamped the sentiment and the little leaf, then decided to color the little leaf with Copic's. Love how that little guy turned out, but thought I needed to have at least 3 on the card.
The die is an all-in-one and cuts the top and bottom of the acorn and the small leaf. Daubered on some fall like ink colors and then used a glue dot to attach.
The challenge over at Simon Says Stamps is to use Kraft, so I'm adding this.
Time to clean up my messy craft room! Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of you
Hi all! Back from my business trip and decided to get creative with a few challenges today.
I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch as a starting point.
The recipe over at Less is More is to use newsprint, so I dug out some old SU designer paper and layered it with scarlet jewel to match the flower. Vintage cream cardstock from PTI used as the card base.
Flower and sentiment are old stamps from the former Angel Company. Flower is colored with Copic markers and the fussy cut out.
Some jute used to tie the bow on top of the newsprint for some added interest. Flower is popped up using foam tape.
That's it for this post. Thanks for stopping by!

Love you
Hi everyone! I'm currently up in the frozen 49th state on business but uploaded a card to my work computer so that I could post while I'm away.
Be forewarned it is not the best picture!
I was in a hurry to get a picture taken and what not before I left, so it's a bit crooked and dark. pfft!
OK, here are the details.
Sentiment stamp is from Papertrey, Ink. The heart, tag and stitched rectangle are from Simon Says Stamp. Black and white polka dot designer paper is from Recollections.
I placed the heart inside the tag and cut it out at the same time, creating the heart cut out. Then I cut out a red heart and inserted it. Added some red satin ribbon and called it good.
Don't you just love red, black and white together! I'm going to give this one to my DH, just because!

Vellum thank you
Hi everyone! Here is my take on the Addicted to CAS challenge using vellum.
The embossing folder is from Darice that I just picked up at Ben Franklin's. Yellow chalk is added to the center of the flowers to make it pop more. This is cut down to 4 x 5.25 so that I could fit it onto a normal A2 card base.
The vellum is cut using one of the tag dies from Papertrey, Ink. The sentiment comes from Wplus9 and it is heat embossed using clear embossing powder over Versafine black ink.
Added the yellow tag topper, some skinny black satin ribbon and two black pearls (to hide the adhesive) and we're done!
Pretty quick, clean and simple thank you card!

Toadally unexpected
Hi everyone! The theme over at Less is More this week is "little creatures" and here is what I came up with!
The frog stamp is a very old one from the former Angel Company.
I stamped it in colorbox Gum Drop Green from MFT. Used the round stitched die from Lil' Inkers to cut it out and then backed it with a layer of green from Bazzill.
The cattail is also in the pond life set from TAC and I used markers and the huff method to stamp one in the corner and on the inside.
The sentiment is from There She Goes, which is also no longer in business.
Kept this clean and simple since it's going to a male co-worker.

Start with coffee
Hi everyone! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. I turned it sideways to accommodate a new die set I just got.
The picture is a little crooked, so tilt your head to the left a bit for a straight on look at this! =)
Coffee cup die and sentiment is from My Favorite Things. The stitched star came from SSS and the stitched scalloped die is from pretty pink posh.
Black, white and kraft cardstock and the polka dot designer paper is from Papertrey, Ink.
I added some black cording between the dp and the scallped border to add some interest.
I used a lot of foam tape on this. The cup was popped up first, then I added thicker foam mini squares to the lid. I finally added a bit to the star so that it would stick out a bit.
Ok, that's it for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas goodie bag
Hi everyone! I liked the challenge over at The Friday Mashup and decided to play along!
I created the tag using an old Life Style Crafts (Quickutz) tag die. The fir branch is from Great Impressions, which is stamped in green and then I added the sentiment from Stampendous. I've had that fir branch stamp forever and you should see how stained the wood is.
I layered the tag with pine green and scarlet jewel cardstock from PTI.
The treat box is made using the envelope punch board from We R Memory Keepers. I used a piece of 12 x 12 paper in kraft and then added the bow to tie it off.
Also entering this into the Tag You're It challenge #8.
Have a great week!

One layer card with 2
Hi all! It's one layer time over at Less is More and they are looking for two! I'll admit this had me stumped for a bit, so I started digging through my stamps. Here is what I came up with.
This is a very old stamp from the former Angel Company. I inked it up in Versafine, heat embossed it with clear and the colored it with Copic Markers. I did add a bit of texture to the snowman couple using some rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. I wanted their clothes to look like there was snow on them. The card base is rustic white from Papertrey, Ink.
I had some how crunched up one of the corners and took care of that by using the corner rounder. I know the photo is a little dark. We were having some severe weather when I was taking the picture. Turned out we had a tornado touch down briefly about 20 miles away. Here in Washington that doesn't happen, I think this is like the second I've heard about in all my years. It was sort of exciting.

Mojo Blue Birthday
Hi everyone. I decided to give this weeks Mojo Monday 366 sketch a whirl. Here's what I did with it.
Stamps are from Verve. I initially used a light blue ink to stamp the bluebells, however they really didn't show up like I wanted. Ended up taking a darker blue prismacolor pencil to add some highlights.
Designer paper is from Michael's Reflection line.
Off to see what else I can create! Thanks for stopping in.

Birthday wishes
Hi everyone! Whew! What a week and I'm so glad it's Friday! Here is my take on several challenges today!
I started off with this weeks Freshly Made sketch.
Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge is to use watercolors. I got out my cheap set of watercolor paints and a paint brush and started adding some color to a piece of watercolor paper. The colors I chose to use came from this weeks Fusion challenge. See photo below.
The daisy is from Memory box and I added the candy enamel dots from Studio Calico to the centers. Sentiment is from PTI.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by.
