Recycled

Hi everyone! Happy 4th of July to all my American readers out there! Today's card is for two challenges. I used the Less is More recipe challenge of using something recycled and loosely followed the Freshly Made Sketch for this week.

The recycled item is the blue and white striped ribbon. It came off of a card that was attached to a pair of Docker's pants, that I had saved.

The sweet pea stamp and sentiment is from There She Goes which is no longer in business.

I used Distress markers in Victorian velvet, Fired brick and Tumbled glass to water color the sweet peas. I also used the tumbled glass to color the die cut out in the back ground which is from Savvy stamps.

Added a slight bit of color down the left side of the card base too. The pink layer is watercolor paper that was sponged with Victorian velvet distress ink.

Have a great weekend everyone! It sure will be nice to spend three days off enjoying the Holiday!

Also included this card in this Friday's Mashup FM167.
