Hi everyone! I was able to play along with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch and even got a little creative with it too! Clearly a departure from my normal clean and simple cards!
Where do I begin to name all the different designer paper I used on this one? and does anyone really care? Sentiment is from Verve.
The two big hearts are chipboard that I covered using dp and then sanded and distressed.
I almost didn't put the vellum behind the sentiment. I was on a search and destroy mission for more dp to go here and couldn't find anything I liked. Did you know that Copic markers do a fabulous job coloring vellum? I started off using some distress dye ink and wasn't happy with it and grabbed my lipstick red and fell in love with how it turned out. I spritzed it with rubbing alcohol to add a bit of texture which you can't even see now! Oh well, it was fun to play around with!
