Hi everyone! Here's my take on this weeks CAS-ual Friday challenge.
Stamps are from Papertrey, Ink. Out on a limb and the sentiment and die are from Tiny Tags.
I stamped the tree limb and berries onto vintage cream cardstock (also used as the base for the card) and then layered it with light green cardstock from Bazzill. The designer paper is from Memory Box and layered with Scarlet jewel cardstock from PTI.
Burgundy satin ribbon used across the top and the bow is tied using the Bow Easy.
Looking at this now, I think I might change up the green layer behind the main panel for the scarlet jewel. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Pretty card, Laurie! Should make someone feel very special! Thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteVery elegant, and great color combo!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Laurie! I'm not sure I'd change out the green but knowing me, I think I might have added the scarlet behind the green for even more pop ~ since you asked ;-) It looks like a fun design to work with!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! Perfect stamp set to use for this challenge. Thanks for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteYou are quick off the mark with this one, Laurie, and I think it is sensational!! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card, Laurie! Thank you for sharing it with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card Laurie.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Natalie regarding your change of colour. The red under the green would make the lovely image 'pop' at bit more. But it is lovely as is.
