Hi all! I colored this a while ago and just now finished putting together this card for the Great Impressions June challenge. The challenge is: "Leave a Little Sparkle."
Flip flops are stamped in Versafine and heat embossed using clear embossing powder, then colored with Copics. I used glitter gelly roll pens to color the flowers and the thong part of the flip flop. You might have to click on the picture to enlarge it to see the sparkle.
I added the yellow Prima flower to go with the ones in the stamp so that we have some form of embellishment on this card. That's black scrappers floss behind the flower.
Both the flip flop stamp and the sentiment are from Great Impressions.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Laurie!
ReplyDeleteYour card reminds me of summer and a sandy warm beach. Great color choice for the card base, and I love the CAS look. Thanks for joining us at Great Impressions Stamps and using our stamps on your card :) We love to see what you create with our stamps!
Hugs,
Jenny

ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much I have enjoyed viewing your blog. Every card inspired me either a technique you used or a challenge layout. Thanks - gotta get back to creating, guess the laundry can wait.
