Celebrate
Stamp is from Papertrey Ink called Life. I stamped it using the marker and huff method. All cardstock is from PTI (scarlet jewel, ivory and black) and the designer paper is from the Once upon time collection from Die Cuts With A View.
KaiserCraft self adhesive black pearls are used along the bottom and in the top and bottom right panel. The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo black from Memento.

TDS Wednesday Sketch Challenge
And I made two cards to go with this sketch. Since we're so close to July 4th, that was my theme.
The blue card is so plain Jane - but sometimes clean and simple do the trick!
The images are two of the new Brian Lock images over at TDS. Are they not the cutest? Both are colored with Copic's and highlighted with either glitter or stardust pens.
Sentiment is from The Angel Company's trendy greetings set. The red card is scored several times to represent stripes! I also took my Versamark pen and ran it along the embossed edges of the die I cut out and embossed it with silver EP.
Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!

Bird in a tree
Versamagic pink grapefruit is used on the leaves, the branches are done with Memento Rich Cocoa and the bird is stamped in Tuxedo Black. The back ground distress dots are done very lightly with Versamagic tea leaves. The green Cardstock is BAzzill.
Quickutz cookie cutter scalloped die is used to cut the double scallop on the bottom. Gold self adhesive pearls and grosgrain ribbon finish it off.
I had a blast learning some new techniques at the Copic Certification Class yesterday in Seattle! What made it even better was the quality of the instruction! Sherrie (BCSherrie on SCS) taught it and did a FAB job. I wish I had taken this class before wasting my money on the four hour mini class held at my LSS. What do they say - hindsight is always 20/20?
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Just Because
There's even a background stamp used on this one that comes from Stamp Camp. The border, butterfly and sentiment are all TAC.
The inks are from Colorbox - chalk inks in Blue Iris and Azurite. I colored the butterfly with a Copic marker that matched all the blues used throughout the card. Cardstock used is Bazzill. The cornice punch from Martha Stewart is used on both the blue borders. Lastly, added some white self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft and a bit of grosgrain ribbon in the top right hand corner. The white of my lamp sure distorts the blues when I used it to take the picture. IRL they go really well together!

New TAC Inspiration Book and Stamps
You probably have not seen this stamp set yet (unless you're at Seminar) but I was asked to design a few cards for three of the new sets that are appearing in the new catty.
The panels were colored with Prisma color pencils and highlighted with gel glaze pens. All paper and embellishments are from The Angel Company.
Here's what the new Inspiration book looks like! How gorgeous is that design?
I'll keep posting a few of the designs over the weekend so that you can see what some of the new stamps look like for those of you who are not at seminar!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Cosmetics
Both of these are so girly!
Colored with Copic's and added a bit of bling with some pink glitter on the bubbles. The dark blue cardstock is from American Crafts and I ran it through a Quickutz embossing folder that has big and little dots all over it. I thought it went so well with the bubbles from the soap. The doily punch from Martha Stewart was used on the white cardstock and that lovely pink designer paper is from DCWV. The bow easy was used to tie the bow. I have a thing for self adhesive pearls from KasierCraft and I think I probably over use them, but they're better than brads IMHO!
The nail polish bottle is colored with Copic's and a black gel glaze pen. I added a layer of glossy accents over it for polish - pun intended!
The back ground paper is made with Spun Sugar distress ink from Ranger. I swiped the ink pad over my craft sheet, spritzed with water and then laid my cardstock down. Heat dried and then spritzed with Smooch frost to give it some sparkle. Again I used the doily punch on the bottom pink, which is actually pink vellum. A pink organza ribbon tied into a bow tops this one off.

I'm off to Soldotna, Alaska tomorrow! It's a three hour drive through the mountains from Anchorage! I hope the weather is clear so that I can take a few pictures and see some wild life. Thanks for stopping by!

Things are bad!
However, I have all the chocolate that I need at my fingertips, on my shirt, all over my arms and elbows and even in my hair. Which is why my hair definitely looks like this. LOL!! Frazzled!!!
The stamp is a from a retired set from The Angel Company and is colored with Copic Markers. The swiss dots embossing folder is used on the red cardstock which goes with the black and white polka dot dp from PTI. The Scalloped borders are done with the Quickutz cookie cutter dies. Black rhinestones are from KaiserCraft.
Only three more days to go up here in Alaska! I'm excited to get home and even more excited to attend the Copic certification class that is being held on Sunday in Seattle.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Father's Day Card #2
The black cardstock is cut out with the Tim Holtz Alterations die. I thought it resembled a saw blade and went well with this image. What do you think?
Here's a picture of the outside of the new DQ in Anchorage! I've been on my feet for way too many hours training people how to make the curl on top of the ice cream cone and how to blend a Blizzard correctly. Needless to say, they still need a lot of practice. Ah, the life of a Business Consultant - there's never a dull momment. BTW - what is your favorite Blizzard flavor?
Have a great day!

Father's Day Card #1
This image and sentiment are only $1 over at TDS! The ties are colored with Copic Markers and the stripes are accented with a black gel glaze pen. I printed out two sets of the three ties, colored one set and cut them out and popped them up with foam tape over the other. I love the 3D effect it gives on this card.
The kraft cardstock was embossed with the paid embossing folder from Provo Craft and then I swiped an ink pad over the top of the raised edges while it was still in the folder. I really like how it adds more dimension to the embossing.
I have one more card to show case as we count down to Father's Day, so stay tuned! As I gave my Dad his card at dinner his statement to the whole table was; "she's made another one!" He fully expects to get a handmade card from me and would be highly disappointed if I got him a store bought one! I find this a bit sweet and funny at the same time!
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know what you think!

Stamps are from Papertrey Ink and stamped in Palette Starry Night and Fresh snow. Kraft card stock and enchanted evening cardstock is also from PTI.
Saw a Moose tonight. She was on the exit curve so I couldn't stop to get a picture! She was so darn close to the road too! On Glenn Highway going towards Palmer, AK it shows how many Moose were killed during the winter months. It's a whopping 225!!! Ouch! We need to slow down and watch for wildlife in order to preserve it and ourselves!
Spending a lot of my time trying to get the new DQ opened by next Wednesday. Lots of cleaning, unpacking equipment and training to do. I wish I had time to get out and see the sites, but the day job has to come first!
Thanks for stopping by!

Laughing with you!
Image is from The Digi Shack and it's only $1, which includes the sentiment! This is such a fun image to work with and can fit so many occasions.
They are colored with Copic's! The scalloped border is done with a Quickutz die (3 sizes come in the pack and I love these!). Brown card stock is from American Crafts and the red gingham designer paper is from My Minds Eye. This card is a 5 x 5 square.
By the way, TDS is releasing some new images from a new artist this coming weekend! So, please stop by The Digi Shack and check them out! Everything that I have seen so far is so CUTE! I wish I was able to create some cards, but (sigh) being on the road is not conducive to do so!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

See you later, Alligator
Anyway, here's a quick one using a retired Angel Company stamp.
Mr. Gator is colored using Copic markers and then I added a bit of texture to him using a stamp that looks like magic mesh. I spritzed some rubbing alcohol onto the stamp and stamped right over the top of him. You might have to click to enlarge the photo to get a good look at it. I did painstakingly cut him out and popped him up using foam tape.
Using a labels 8 die, I cut out the white background and then sponged around it (while the die was still attached to the paper) with Memento Bamboo Leaves. Bazzill green card stock is used to layer and as the card base.
I dusted off my squarish cuttlebug embossing folder to use as more texture for the back panel. It looks so much like alligator skin!
What a fun card this turned out to be for a guy or even a boy....simple and cute!
Thanks for stopping by and after while, crocodile!

Yee Haw!
Isn't he darling colored with copic's?
The bandana background is done using the paisley rockz set from The Angel Company. I stamped the larger of the paisleys in fresh snow from Palette on kraft cardstock and then filled in some of the dots with a white gel pen.
Using the labels 8 die, I cut out the layers to frame this little chunkie cowboy up! Brown cardstock is from American Craft and the green is from Bazzill. Lastly, I added a bit of twine between the diagonals to add some interest and tie everything together - pun intended!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

3D template
The flower is from Tim Holtz new line of dies. The grosgrain ribbon was colored with Copic markers to match.
Again, I used one of the new edge dies from Tim Holtz on this card. The flower and birthday label are all from The Digi Shack.
I used a swirl stamp from the HOTP delicate patterns set with versamark on the yellow panel. The back ground stamp is from SU called sanded. This card is so not my style, but sometimes you have to step outside the box. I'm not so sure it worked with this one, tho!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

STOP!!!!
Mr. Policeman is colored with Copic's and some of his black accents are highlighted with a black glaze gel pen.
I used a fancy spellbinders tag to cut out the sentiment and then daubered around it with faded jeans distress ink.
The blue card stock is embossed with a square design embossing folder from Quickutz.
Just to let everyone know, I have to be up in the great state of Alaska for an extended period of time for business. So, I have worked like mad to get some cards done and will be uploading information via my trusty flash drive. I will not be able to participate in any of the Wednesday sketch challenges, either. Bummer! I wish I could take some supplies with me, but I'm going to be way too busy with my day job to play around!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
