Card Sketch Tuesday #161

Hello everyone! Here is this Tuesday's card sketch. Measurements are below.

Card base is the normal A2 size. Turquoise panel is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2, Sentiment panel is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 (rectangle deckled nestability) main image panel is 2 1/2 x 2.

I used the weathered background stamp (retired) from The Angel Company on the white card base. I lightly inked it up with Aqua ink from Colorbox so that it would be subtle.

The turquoise paper is from DCWV and it's ran through the new Victorian cuttlebug embossing folder. I think it goes really well with the design that is in the dragonflies wings. The dragonfly is stamped in Versamagic Turquoise Gem chalk ink. The sentiment is stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink after I cut out the deckled rectangle first.

The turquoise grosgrain ribbon started out white - but with the use of a Copic marker, it now closely matches! I found some skinny satin ribbon in my stash and added it on top! I did use some foam tape to attach the dragonfly panel, since it had to fit over the bulky ribbon.

All stamps are from The Angel Company.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! I'll be back later to show you some samples of January's Stamp Of The Month from The Angel Company.
