Poinsettia swap card

Hello all! I participated in a swap over at Victorine Originals Yahoo group and this is one of the cards I made.

I used the Spellbinders Poinsettia Nestabilities (the two smaller flowers) and the leaves are done with the bigger die. I cut them out of Pure Poppy cardstock from PTI and highlighted them with red brick versamagic chalk ink. I did a bit of bending and scrunching to make them appear real.

The evergreen branch stamp is from Victorine Originals and it's stamped in Palette Jardin Moss several times. I popped up the poinsettia with some foam tape but prior to it being added between the evergreen branches, I punched a hole for the stamen to go through. I used that fabulous MS punch and punched out a few brown branches and added them behind the poinsettias to balance it off. The sentiment is also from V.O. and is stamped in Palette Jardin Moss.

This turned out to be a simple and fast card that packs a punch! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
