Card Sketch Tuesday #139

Happy Tuesday - it's currently 95 degree's with temperatures projected to reach over 100 tomorrow! I'm sweltering! Summer is finally here in the Pacific Northwest!

Here is sketch #139 - an easy peasy one since it was too hot to sit up in the stamp room for long!

I used the swirl cuttlebug embossing folder for the back ground on this. The swirls kind of match the steam coming out of the coffee cup!

The coffee cup is colored with Copic Ciao Markers and a stardust gel pen was used to highlight the steam. Deckled nestabilities are used to frame and layer all the colors. American Craft card stock in shades of browns were used throughout the card. The little sentiment label is from Quickutz and it's enhanced with Palette burnt umber around the edges.

This was a fun quick little card to do! Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Stamps - TAC skinny birds, sentiment tag tid bits
Card stock - American Crafts
two chocolate brads
Red grosgrain ribbon
Palette burn umber and noir
Copic Markers
Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder
