Card Sketch Tuesday #138

Happy Tuesday! Here is sketch #138, which measures the normal A2 size.

I was playing around with the marker watercoloring technique again, and this is what I ended up with.
The Iris stamp is from Penny Black and is stamped on watercolor paper in Palette Noir ink. I did heat set the image before attempting to put water all over it, thinking the ink would run. I used my Marvy LePlume II markers and a water brush to get the effect seen here.

If you haven't tried to watercolor using water based markers, I highly recommend that you do. It's easy and it allows you to be very specific with where you are putting down color. I just finished painting up a camilla that came out beautifully!

Anyway, have a super week and thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Stamps - Penny Black flower gallery
Designer Paper - American Crafts (blue), Making memories (yellow)
Bazzill - blue card stock
Blue self adhesive pearls from Kaiser Craft
Watercolor paper - canson 120lb.
