Card Sketch #86

Hi everyone! Here is sketch #86 - measuring a normal A2 size. The panels are 1 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches.

I used some of my pearl paper stash for this one! The dove and the sentiment are stamped in versamark and then embossed with silver embossing powder. In real life this is very pretty and would make a wonderful wedding or anniversary card.

I used a versamark pen and a ruler to outline the outside for the embossing around the edges.

We had thunderstorms last night - which is so rare in Western Washington! The last few days it has been very hot - so it's no wonder we had flashes of light and loud noises! It woke my DH up, but I slept right through it! Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Supplies:
Stamps - Dove by Cards of Maria, sentiment is from TAC
Designer paper - soft sage by Reminisce
Versamark ink & pen
Silver embossing powder
Cream card stock

  2. Nice combo!

Came here again because I got your comment but couldn't reply through there.

Thanks for the compliments of the beach. Martin is going there again today, told me it looks gorgeous again and want to get in the water before it is late.

About Victoria Alexander... My bookshelf is really of over 1,000 books. I'm trying to get my hands in more of her books. I've read of many authors and might be getting rid of some of my books (those I like but don't love). Those I listed are ones I've read just recently for second or third time.

I'll be adding more books shortly, if you join the page we might share a few thoughts in them as well as scrapbooking. I'm thinking of opening another blog just for my favorite reads and my writing. I used to love to write.
