Here's sketch #82 - normal A2 measurements. This one came out very masculine. Which is a bonus because it seems I'm always short on those types of cards in my stash.
The back ground is done with creamy brown chalk ink (stamped off once) with the sanded back ground stamp from SU.
The cattails are done with Marvy LePlume II markers and a few huffs! That layer of burlap is really ribbon. I bought it a Wal-Mart in their half off Christmas section in January. It had red string stuff and wire on both sides. So, I bought it for like 50 cents and decided I could cut off the ugly red stuff and use the middle section for a lot of different things. Great investment, huh? I pulled a few of the fibers out to give it a distressed look. Overall, love the texture it added to the card!
I hope everyone has an awesome weekend!
Supplies:
Stamps - Sanded back ground by SU, Cattails by Sunday International, Sentiment and dragonfly from Penny Black clear stamp set called Salutations (this is an awesome set!!!)

Great idea using burlap. I have tons of it out in the garage....now I'll have to play with it.
