Card Sketch #49 - Love is being stupid together!
Here's a simple sketch that can be used in a lot of diffent ways. I kept it simple for this Valentines day card.
I started with black cardstock and made the fold at the top of the card for a change. It measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.
On the top and bottom layers, I stamped the heart across the panel and then added flourishes in versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I decided not to mat any of my panels on this card and kept it simple for my DH. However I did distress the edges. If you click on the card, you can really see how the embossed flourishes really add some extra texture to the panels.
On the main panel in the middle, I used the same heart stamp, but stamped it off once so that it's lighter for the back ground. The sentiment is stamped over the heart and then I distressed the edges with the same ink. Red ribbon is threaded through the slit punches on the sides of the panel and attached on the inside of the card.
Supplies:
Black cardstock by Bazzill
Basic white cardstock
Stamps: The Angel Company (all gift with purchase stamps)
Ink - Moulon Rouge by Palette, versamark
Clear embossing powder
Red grosgrain ribbon
