Fall birthday card
Hi everyone! Here is a card I put together following the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players. This also works for the Friday Mashup! and Sugarpea Designs falling for you challenge. Whew!
Pumpkin/crow stamp is from Plum Purdy and colored with Copic's. I did heat set this with clear embossing powder prior to coloring.
Black and white gingham designer paper is from A*Muse Studio. I also paired it with the stitched scalloped border die from Pretty Pink Posh.
I made the frame using larger sizes of rectangle nesties so that it would just a bit different. I started with a white one and switched to black as it stood out more and framed the main image well.
Button from American Crafts and paired it with some waxed twine tied into a triple bow. All cardstock is from PTI.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Shiny hello
Hello. Here is my take on the recipe week over at Less is More. They want something shiny and over at Simon Says Stamps, they don't want us to use designer paper. OK, here is what I did with these two challenge.
I used one of the smaller flower stamps from Wplus9 (spring blooms) and stamped it in canary ink from Colorbox. I went back and stamped the centers then cover it all with clear embossing powder and heat set it. Gives it a really nice shine.
The "hello" die is from Savvy Stamps and I cut it out of shiny gold paper. Used the new Stick it! adhesive on the back to get it to stick to the paper.
Added that to a black card base and called it good.
That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by!

thanks
Hello. I just returned from a business meeting in San Diego and I'm glad to be home. I ended up missing 3/4 of a day because of something I ate. It's not fun being nauseous in a business meeting, that's for sure! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch, which I also paired with the photo challenge over at Just Us Girls.
No stamping on this one! Gasp! Just lots of die cuts.
My Favorite Things for the flowers and fishtail banner. Papertrey, Ink on the leaf, which I cut apart. The word "thanks" is cut out three times and glued together to give it a bit of depth.
Designer paper is from the Reflections line from M's. Flower centers are from Queen&Co.

Ho Ho Ho
Happy Monday! Here is what I did with the sketch from this weeks Sunday Stamps challenge.
This is a digi stamp from Sassy Cheryl and colored with Copic's. I used X-press it blending cardstock to print this cute little Santa up. I just love his "wink" and how flirty he is. I cute him out using the stitched die from Lil' Inkers Designs.
Red polka dot paper is from Bazzill Basics. White enamel dots are from Queen & Co. and the Ho Ho Ho sentiment is from Plum Purdy.
Well, that is it for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Fall hello
Hello, or shall I say happy fall hello? The wind is upon us and the leaves are starting to fall which reminds me of pumpkins and the like. Here is my take on two challenges today.
Stamps are from Papertrey, Ink and colored with Copic's. I forgot I had this set, and found it when was digging through all my stamps looking for some fall themed ones.
Designer paper behind the main image is also from PTI. The "hello" is from a Simon Says Stamp set.
Square stitched dies used around all layers and the fishtail die. All are from My Favorite Things.
Card ended up being a 4 x 4 square. Decided to change up from the normal A2.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
The Paper Players - PP263
Just Us Girls - color week #311

Just for you
Hello! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. I did rotate it to fit my image.
Flower stamp is from Hero Arts. I stamped it in Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder first, then colored with Copic's.
Sentiment block is from Papertrey, Ink.
The designer paper is from Bazzill Basics and layered with black using my mini perfect layers tool.
Red satin ribbon is from my stash. I ended up popping the panel up with foam tape to give it some dimension.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by!
Adding this into the NBUS challenge too, since the Hero arts stamp is new and never been used.

Feminine thank you
Hello! Sorry to be MIA for a bit there, getting caught up from vacation was a bit of a challenge.
Forgot that Darnell was doing her NBUS challenge and I have plenty of that laying around! So, here is a soft feminine thank you card to play in the challenge.
Peonies stamp is from Papertrey, Ink and colored with Copics. I used an old sketch that I had saved to do the layout.
The white circle in the back ground has been embossed with a spellbinders celebra'tions folder. It's bit hard to see but it give this some great texture.
Sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Thanks on burlap
Posting a real quick, clean and simple card today.
Great for a masculine card, but could go either way depending on the situation.
Burlap is from Die Cuts With A View and cut out using the largest fishtail banner die from My Favorite Things. Layered it onto black cardstock, added some thin satin ribbon, tied a bow with the Bow Easy, then added the Thanks.
It's a die from Savvy stamps (I think) and I used the Stick It! brand adhesive behind it so that it would adhere to the burlap without any fuss.
That's it, like I said, really quick, clean and simple. Thanks for popping in.

Holiday Hugs
Hello! I'm pre-scheduling this to post while on vacation, so that you all have something to look at from me this week!
This stamp is from My Favorite Things and is colored with Copic markers.
I then ran it through the snow embossing folder from Taylored Expressions. Added a three smaller snowflakes around the edges (mostly to cover up a goof in the right hand lower corner) and attached it to a red card base.
Like how it turned out. Clean and simple.
Thanks for stopping by! Know that I'm enjoying my time off with my feet up and a cold beverage in my hand. Usually, it's just bottled water but I might splurge and do something alcoholic this time around.
Take care!

Graveyard
Hi everyone. In a fall/Halloween mood and decided to play around with the set I just got from PTI on the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch.
Haunted headstones from Papertrey, Ink were stamped in gray, sentiment added then fussy cut out. The designer paper in back is from DCWV.
I cut out a circle and sponged on scattered straw and spiced marmalade to create the moon. Stamped the bats in Versafine black ink.
Both the moon and headstones are popped up using foam tape.
I decided not to make this a square card and kept it the normal A2 size. I think I might go back and stamp Happy Halloween in the lower right hand corner to balance this out a bit. What do you think?
