Hi everyone! I had some time this past weekend to get a little bit inky! Here's a card I made using a past sketch (#108) from deconstructing Jen.
Stamps are from The Stamps of Life. I had to search and destroy through my ink stash for a purple ink that matched the designer paper. Finally ended up going with Iris from Palette ink to stamp the flowers.
Designer paper is from Kaisercraft and the the solid cardstock is from Bazzill. I ran the green panel through the "lines" embossing folder from The Paper Studio to give it some texture.
Label die is from Verve. Sorry that the picture is dark, but in real life this is very bright and cheerful!

Shabby Chic
Hi everyone! I have never tried to do a shabby chic card - you know, the soft distressed romantic look. I'm more of a clean and simple kind of girl. Well, since Verve Diva Dare is tattered pages this month, I decided to give it a try.
I've got to say that I'm very pleased with how it turned out! Click on the picture to get a better look at the distressing!
Card base is rustic cream cardstock from Papetrey, Ink. I cut another piece and took a pair of scissors to the sides to distress it. The sentiment is from Verve and cut out using their awesome tag die! The soft striped designer paper is from the soft serenity collection from Provo Craft that I got years ago!
The leaves are die cut and then distressed with peel paint distress ink. I also used worn lipstick to dye the seam binding that is attached to the tag. Finally I added a double strand of self adhesive pearls to the bottom to bling it up a bit.
What do you think? I'd love to hear if I did justice to this shabby chic card. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy bee-lated Birthday
Hi everyone! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch!
Stamps are from The Craft's Meow. The little bee is colored with a Copic marker and then I added some glossy accents to his little wings. Hard to see in the photo though!
I cut the tag using the LifeStyle Crafts die which also has the tabs on it too. Then I ran it through the Sizzix hexagon embossing folder. I did stamp the squiggle fly line before I embossed it, then was able to put the bee right where I wanted it! Added a layer of black cardstock and then tied on the bakers twine.
Designer paper is from Provo Craft. I really like how this turned out - clean and simple!

Mojo #303 - Enjoy
Hello! I like to stamp up a bunch of images, color them and then they sit on my desk until creativity sparks to make a card. That was the case with this one and this weeks Mojo sketch fit it perfectly!
The Dahlia is from Flourishes and colored with Copic's. I think yellow is so challenging to shade with when it comes to Copic's. Anyway.....
Designer paper is from Provo Craft, yellow and green cardstock is from Bazzill. I used the Martha Stewart leaf punch to create the leaves. The flower tag is a die from Papertrey, Ink and so is the string, lastly the fishtail die is from My Favorite Things.

Many thanks
Hi everyone! Here is a card I did a little bit ago but never got around to posting.
Designer paper is from the Once upon a time collection from DCWV. Tag is cut from the tiny tags die from PTI and stamped with a saying from The Angel Company that is no longer available.
Flower is cut out and colored with spun sugar distress ink and the leaves are colored with broken glass. Leaf die is from Memory Box. I added a bit of distressing around the edges of the flower to give it a bit of definition. Card base is vintage cream.
That's all for today - thanks for stopping in!

Tall Snowman
Hi everyone! I made some time today to play with some new stamps and used one of them on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #95.
A little more Christmas in July!
Stamp is from Paper Smooches and is colored with Copic's. I used the long rectangle nesties to cut him out. The designer paper is from K&Company.
The snowflake die is one of the new releases from Memory Box. I cut it out using white cardstock but it didn't really show up all that well on the card. So I got out the faded jeans distress dye and colored it blue. The blue bottom was a very lucky match from American Crafts.
I spritzed it with frost shimmer spritz and decided that I needed a close up picture so that you can sorta make it out. It's better in real life!
That it for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Window
Hi everyone! I've been super busy this past week in anticipation of having new Pergo floors installed downstairs. Never realized how much breakable stuff I had to pack up so we could move furniture.
This is a card I did a while ago but never got around to posting. No stamping involved, just a lot of die cuts!
Window, window box and the fern are from Memory Box. Martha Stewart flower punch used for the flowers and also used the dotted scalloped border punch to make the curtains. Gingham designer paper is from My Minds Eye.
I ran a piece of red cardstock through the TH brick embossing folder and then used black soot distress ink to bring out the bricks. I'm not all that happy with them - I think it should be a bit darker. To make the window shine, I used a piece of acetate behind the die cut.
I'm off to put my downstairs back together and downsize on some furniture! If you want to see a photo of the floors, I uploaded one on Facebook. Thanks for stopping by!

Love you to my core
Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you my take on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch! This came together pretty quickly as I had colored the image over the weekend.
Stamps are from Paper Smooches and colored with Copic Markers. Red gingham designer paper is from A*Muse Studio and all the other cardstock is from Papertrey, Ink. I used the fishtail banner from My Favorite Things to cute out the sentiment. The heart is cut from the tiny tags die from PTI.
Black scrappers floss used on the heart and button. The button is from American Crafts. Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of you
Hi all! I found some time tonight to put together this card for three different challenges.
Polka dot stamp is from PTI's polka dot basics II and the flower and sentiment are from The Stamps of Life. I stamped the polka dots in Fresh ink in chamomile and matched the cardstock as close as I could for the card base and circle layer. Added a white pearl to the center of the flower from Kaisercraft and then popped up the circle with foam tape.
Then I added the pin and tied on a bit of black and white gingham ribbon. Pretty clean and simple!
This is for the following challenges:

CAS-Friday - Polka dots CFC109
Simon Says Stamp - Pin it

Glittered sunset
Hi everyone! I actually got a Christmas card done in July! Which is so not like me - anyway, there are numerous blog challenges out there this week, so I think I'll join a few!
Here's my card!
Snowflake embossing folder used on the white background and adhered to a white card base. The stamp is from Memory Box and stamped in Versafine black ink. I masked off the ground and sponged on some Palette Jardin Moss ink. The sky is done with Versamagic inks and Memento blue sky ink.
When I was done sponging, I added glue all over it and sprinkled it with fine Art Glitter in crystal. In real life it appears that it's snowing!
Challenges entered in:
The Paper Players - Christmas in July
CAS on Sunday - Christmas in July
Merry Monday - Anything goes
Flourishes - Christmas in July
Craftyhazelnut - Christmas challenge
Thanks for stopping by!

Deepest Sympathy
Hi everyone! This weeks Mojo Monday Sketch got me to dust off my oval nesties to create this:
All stamps from Verve. I made the tall leaf from the Abundant Blessings set into a cattail using Memento and Distress markers.
Designer paper is from The Paper Studio called Antiquity and I used brown cardstock from paper Pizazz to layer everything.
To jazz this up a bit I used the amber rhinestones from Kaisercraft along the left top of the oval. It's different, but I kind of like it! What do you think? Sorry for the dark and slightly tilted photo!

Thank you! CFC108
I everyone! I wanted to show you what I came up with for this weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge.
I got the little draw string bag from Close To My Heart, it's muslin and comes in a package of 3. They're really cute! I stamped the sentiment from PTI using versafine ink then let it dry.
The sunflower is made out of sticky back canvas and colored with distress stains. I used the tattered floral die to cut out the canvas. I did not peel off the backing to the canvas because I didn't want it to lay totally flat. So, I decided to use hot glue to get it to adhere right. Button is from American Crafts.

Sailboat
Hi everyone! I saw this sketch over at CASE(E) this sketch! and it got my creative juices flowing.
Here what I did with it! I substituted the sentiment for a sailboat!
I turned it sideways and created a bit of scene. The sailboat is a die that I just picked up at my LSS from Paper Smooches.
The seagulls are from the Gina K Designs set called By the Sea 2.
I die cut a few clouds out and used them as a mask to create the sky. The sea is done using a mask I tore up using a plain old sheet of printer paper. Inks used were: Summer Sky by Memento, Studio G light blue and Palette starry night. I took my white gel pen from Sakura and added the foam/white caps onto the water after the ink dried a bit!
This was a lot of fun to create! Thanks for stopping by!

FMS93 - Snowflakes
Hi everyone! Here's a quick card I put together using a new release die from Memory Box and this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #93.
Nothing real hard about this one! White panel is embossed using the 5 x 7 snowflake embossing from Sizzix. Blueberry grosgrain ribbon is taped on the embossed panel and then stuck to the navy card base. I cut the snowflake out of white cardstock and used a bit of glue from a glue stick to adhere it just at the center point so that it kind of stood up. Love this new die - it's so delicate! Pearl from Kaisercraft used for the center.
I hope you all have a Happy 4th of July (if your in the States) and be safe out there!

I Heart Dogs - Mojo #300
Hi all! I was able to make a card for this weeks Mojo Monday #300 sketch! I braved the 100 degree heat in the craft room to put this one together. The fans were working overtime in here!
Ok - so these stamped images have been sitting on my desk for about three weeks as I decided what to do with them, well all except the bone! The hydrant, paw print and sentiment are all $1 stamps from We R Memory Keepers. I stamped the hydrant in Versafine and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder so that I could color it with Copic's. The bone is a stamp from CTMH and I stamped it up in the right hand corner because this square panel was missing something - not sure if I like it but it's late and hot in here!
Black cardstock is embossed with a line pattern that I just picked up from Hobby Lobby (the paper studio). Gingham paper is from A*Muse and the black polka dot is from PTI.

Sympathy card
Hi everyone! I just had a co-worker lose her father and found that I didn't have any decent sympathy cards in my stash. I had to turn this one out pretty fast in order to get it in the mail. In the end, it turned our pretty good!
Stamps are Stampin Up! I used memento markers to stamp the flower.
Designer paper is from Memory Box. Green cardstock is from Bazzill and the brown and white cardstock is from PTI. Brown satin ribbon ties everything together!
Thanks for stopping by! We are melting here in Washington state - it's up in the 90's and so uncomfortable!
