Happy leap day everyone! I got this idea off of the Memory box blog about using packing tape a die cut and glitter to create some sparkle. Love how it came out!
I used the Vivienne Butterfly die from Memory Box and cut it out using black cardstock. Then I took a piece of clear packing tape and adhered it to the die cut. Next I got out the glitter. I did use two colors to create the effect.
Designer paper is Washi paper that I picked up at a craft show many moons ago. Sentiment is from PTI. I cut the tag from their tag die collection and stamped the Happy Birthday on. I used teeny tiny self adhesive gold pearls on the corners. Card base cardstock is from Bazzill and cut in a 5 x 5 square.
Have a happy leap day!

Cut out ferns
Hi everyone! This weekend was a pretty relaxing one and I was able to get into the studio to create a few cards.
This card was made to send to my Dad this Friday for his 79th birthday! It's amazing how well he looks and gets around!
Fern dies are from Poppy stamps and cut out of the vintage cream cardstock. I backed it onto a piece of green cardstock from Hot Off The Press. I just love this color green!
I used the cut ferns and colored them with broken glass distress inks and put them inside the card. Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.
Dragonfly die is from Memory Box. It's wings are cut from colored vellum and then I spritzed it with frost shimmers spray to make them look gossamer. Not sure I achieved the look I was going for, but I like the end result.
What do you think? Thanks for stopping in!

Thank you
Hi everyone! I picked up this cute little flower stamp at Impress Rubber Stamps which is a LSS for me. However, they do have an awesome web site that you can use to shop from home. Just thought I'd enable you!
Flower is from Poppy stamps and I used colorbox lavender ink to randomly stamp it on the cardstock. A white Sharpie paint pen is used to color the centers and I also dabbed a little stardust gel pen on it too.
The Thank You sentiment stamp is from A*Muse Studio. The long rectangle nestie was used to cut it out and added a purple grosgrain ribbon and bow to the right side.
Designer paper is from Provo Craft and the purple cardstock is from American Crafts. I had purchased one of the small Hero arts clear stamp sets and it came with some bling - which is the flowers that you see on the corners of the purple carstock. Added a bit of white paint pen to the centers, but you can't really tell in the photo.
Off to see what else I can come up with - thanks for stopping in.

Welcome Baby
Hi everyone! I got this stamp set (Bundle of love) a while back ago from Papertrey, Ink and never inked it up and to make a card out of it. Thought I'd better get busy!
Vintage Cream cardstock was used as the base of the card and for everything else as well. I stamped the stork and baby bundle in Memento ink and colored with Copic's. The little heart in the bundle was stamped with Palette fresh snow ink.
The pink cardstock is from Hot Off The Press. I cut the ribbon strip using the PTI die and then used Palette vintage cream ink with the polka dot basics stamp to create the dots. Pink chalk ink from Studio G was sponged around the oval sentiment.
Real clean, simple and quick card to do! Going into my stash for later use and I'll have to make up a blue and yellow one too. Thanks for stopping by!

Lace challenge
Hi everyone! There is a new challenge going on over at Victorine Originals blog. We want you to use lace on your card. Here's what I did....
Sentiment is from VO. Ivory cardstock used as the base for this card. I rounded the corners using my new corner chomper that I got for Christmas! Love this tool!
Burlap, lace and ivory ribbon added to the left side of the card. I really love the different textures that this provided visually for the card.
Gold self adhesive pearls used at the top and bottom of the sentiment.
Here's the stamps that you could win if you participate in the lace challenge.

Dragonfly dreams
Hi everyone. Decided to play along with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch a bit late, but at least I got it done!
and...I get to upload it to Flutter by Wednesday's challenge too since they are doing anything with wings this week!
The dragonfly is the newest die from Memory Box. I cut the wings out of light blue vellum and the body out of black cardstock. Decided to use the Swiss dot embossing folder to add some texture to the circle. Sentiment is from Impression Obsession.
Designer paper is from Basic Grey and the light green and purple carstock is from Bazzill. I ran the card base through the linen impression plate (actually the other side) which is from PTI. It's kind of hard to see in this small picture but if you blow it up you'll see the texture.
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in!

A different way
Hi everyone! I recently bought the bow dies from Memory Box and saw something a bit different in one of them.
I cut the bow out of dark green cardstock from Bazzill. Using wacky 2 adhesive, I layered them on a piece of cream cardstock, then colored with Copic markers.
Designer paper is a printable one that TAC put out before they got out of the business. Green cardstock on the bottom is from Bazzill and the pink is from Hot Off The Press.
Pearls were added for the flower centers and the satin ribbon was a thank you gift from ordering at Ellen Hutson's online store.
Isn't it fun to create something totally different that the intended use?

Orange Poppy
Hi everyone! I got out the water colors yesterday and played around a bit and finished this piece.
I got the water color set at Michael's - it was located on an end cap and advertised for $3.00 - Bargain! Anyway, that is what I used to color in the poppy. Stamp is from the set Charming Gardeners from A*Muse Studio. Sentiment stamp is from Verve.
The blue cardstock is from Hot Off The Press and I embossed it using the linen embossing plate from PTI. Yellow designer paper is from Making Memories. Light blue satin ribbon is from TAC. I used a few self adhesive black rhinestones for the center of the flower, they're from Kaisercraft.
Whatcha think? I think I need more practice at water coloring!

Love you
Hey there! I completed another challenge for the PTI 5th Anniversary! Today the challenge was to incorporate hearts into your design. Here's what I came up with.
I cut the hearts out using pure poppy felt and the tiny tag die. The bakers twine was laced through the holes and attached to the back of the white cardstock.
The Swiss dot embossing folder was used to create the back ground. I left a space for the sentiment and then scored two lines to enhance the white space. Sentiment is from the simple sentiments set.
All supplies from Papertrey, Ink.
Thanks for stopping by! What do you think of this CAS Valentine?

Wishing you a happy birthday
Hello! I had an opportunity today to put together a card for the Papertrey, Ink 5th anniversary celebration card sketch. Here is the sketch I used.
Here is what I did with it!
Stamps are from the set Wishing you and stamped in Studio G chalk ink. Sentiment is also from the set and I used jet black archival ink to stamp it over the flower stems.
I embossed the cardstock with a rectangle nestie prior to stamping the images. Bazzill light green cardstock used to layer. The grosgrain ribbon is spring green from Ribbons and Bows Oh My. Lastly, the light yellow buttons are from American Crafts.
Hoping this gets randomly picked for a prize package!!!! My finger and toes are crossed for good luck!

Hello...
Hi everyone! I just got in my stamps from the new A*Muse Studio catty! Had a lot of fun playing around with the set Marvelous Marigolds.
I combined a lot of different dies for this card too. The flower die is from Papertrey, Ink and the tessatina border is from Memory box and cut out of light green Bazzill cardstock.
I stamped the marigold in colorbox canary pigment ink. Added a few self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft for the center of the flower that you could see. The hello sentiment is from TAC.
Designer paper is from PTI and so is the kraft cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think of this one. I used this weeks SCS sketch, BTW.

Wishing you
Hi everyone! I had an opportunity to take a few minutes today and play around with this weeks sketch over at SCS. Here's what I came up with.
Stamps are from the Papertrey, Ink set called Wishing you. I stamped the tulips in Studio G white ink and then heat embossed it. It's tucked under that green striped designer paper from HOTP. I found some green card stock in my stash that matched the darker green in the dp and cut out the rectangle using the lattice spellbinders nesties.
Edge punch is from EK success and lastly I added a strip of spring green grosgrain ribbon!
I like the clean lines of this! What do you think?
