A Rubber Stamp Madness magazine appeared in my mail box yesterday! That means that I've been published again.
Here's the card that got chosen. They were having a call for Alice in Wonderland themed cards.
The sentiment and the twins are from Victorine Originals. They are colored with Copic markers and layered onto black cardstock. The yellow background is done using the sanded BG stamp from SU.
Speaking of Victorine Originals, the design team's creations are being showcased on her blog and we will be doing bi-monthly challenges to create some fun and excitement for VO! Blog link is on my side bar.
Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Halloween!

The Flavor of Fall Blog Hop
Hello everyone! The Angel Company is sponsoring a Fall blog hop and here is my card.
The designer paper is from the Amelia Soar With It Collection. I cut a 1 1/2 inch by 12 inch strip and scored it every 1/4 inch to create the medallion. The acorns and sentiment are from the Give Thanks stamp set.
I colored the acorn with Copic markers after stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Added a few gold pearls to the top right hand corner to add a bit of interest.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the blog hop!

Fall flowers
At least I colored these to become a "fall" flower. Giggle, giggle!
I found this digital image somewhere for free and for the life of me I cannot remember who's it is. If anyone out there has a system for identifying and remembering who your digi's came from, please share!
Daisy's are colored with Copic's and layered with yellow cardstock. The yellow designer paper is from my stash that I most likely got from Micheal's years ago. The gray cardstock is from American Craft and I used the Quikutz medium scalloped border die to cut the edge. Simple layout that went together pretty quickly. What do you think?
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Happiness is....
New stamps!!!!
Hi everyone! I've been playing around with some new stamps from The Angel Company. This is now available in the fall supplement, which you can find online here.
Isn't this sunflower gorgeous?
It's stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic's. I searched high and low for designer papers to go with it, and finally settled on the yellow dp from Making Memories. It's from an old embellishment paper pack called Fresh Anthology collection - Eliza. The brown and green cardstock is probably from Bazzill, but not 100% sure as I pulled most of it out of my scrap collection.
Mini gold pearls are used in the corners of the brown cardstock for some bling.... and the sentiment panel is popped up with foam tape. So, what do you think?

TDS Showcase - special recipe
Hello everyone! Here's another image that is available over at the digi shack for $1. I've been doing a bunch of digi surfing lately and I'm amazed at how much people are charging for images. You can always find a lot freebies out there but if you want a good deal without breaking the bank, head on over to The Digi Shack!
The image is colored with Copic markers and cut out using nesties! I also got out the compressor and did some airbrushing for the card. The polka dots in the back ground were done using a template and the blue flowers were colored using two different shades of blue.
The center flower also got some black enamel polka dots added to it using the Enamel accents from Inkssentials.
The sentiment is from PTI and stamped on a chipboard tag and then tied on with scrappers floss. Which was also colored with Copic's.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great week!

CAS Tree
Greetings!
How about a change up in season for this next card? I know I'm ready for anything different right about now.
This gorgeous little tree is from The Angel Company set called Jingle Jolly. I colored it with Copic markers and added some stickles to the star and bulbs!
Designer paper is from Debbie Mumm and the red ric rac is from my stash that I originally got from my Mom years and years ago.
I used a oval nestability to cut out the tree and it's popped up using foam tape. Simple, quick card that could be mass produced! What do you think?
Have a fantastic weekend.

TDS showcase showdown
Hello all - it's Wednesday which means another showcase showdown for TDS!
Here's this weeks card!
Toni (owner of The Digi Shack) included this in the Halloween section of older images that she brought back this year! I just love this mask, which is so New Orleans and Mardi Gras but also works well for Halloween too!
I colored it in shade of purple with Copic markers and then added some stickles to bling it up! I just got some Enamel accents from Inkssentials that I bought at Micheal's and used the white to add the dots around the outside edges.
The swirl is a die from sizzix and is cut out using some grunge paper. Next I got out the sparmax compressor and Copic's to spray it purple to match the colors in the image. The I took a white paint pen from Sharpie and added in the white dots. A square nestability was used to cut out the main image and it just so happened to fit right in the swirl!
Designer paper is from Paper Pizazz. Stay tuned for a non-Halloween card with an image from TDS next week! I'm getting a bit tired of Halloween cards..........
Thanks for stopping by and live your day to the fullest!

A few more....
Hey there! Here are a few more Halloween inspired cards with stamps from The Angel Company.
I used the new frost Shimmer spritz (in the TAC catty) on the black cardstock. It really sparkles in real life! You can't see it in the picture, but I outlined her web skirt with a stardust pen so it blings as well.
The moon is colored with Copic markers and the bats are colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS.
All cardstock and ribbon on these cards are from The Angel Company.
I didn't get a chance to upload these to the blog hop yesterday, but wanted to post them anyway. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you soon!

Wicked Good blog hop
Hello! I'm participating in the The Angel Company's creative inspiration blog hop featuring some wicked good Halloween designs! Here's my creation!
The treat box was purchased from my local stamp store and filled with some Reese's Pieces, which is a perfect color combo for Halloween!
The stamp is from the Spooktacular set and colored with a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is from the same set and cut out using a circle nestability.
I used a extra large black eyelet for the hole in which to tie on the black grosgrain ribbon. You've gotta keep those Reese's from falling out some how! LOL!
Click on the image below to be taken to the start of the blog hop so that you can see some more Wicked Good stuff from other Angels!

Eyes......
Hello everyone. Here is a card I designed for Victorine Originals sometime ago for a catty submission for Halloween. It didn't get picked, but it's a fun and creative card!
The boards are colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS. The eyes are highlighted with pencils so that they stand out a bit. I did some fussy cutting and then popped it up using foam tape onto the yellow cardstock.
The smallest circle nestability was used to cut the circles on the right side and I added some googly eyes for fun to the inside of the card. Sentiment is also from Victorine Originals.

TDS Showcase Showdown
Happy day everyone! Here is another showcase of a Brian Lock image that is available over at The Digi Shack!
The little devil is colored with Copic markers and cut out using a circle nestability. The yummy designer paper is from who knows where. I think it might be the paper company, but I've had it in my stash for so long that I've long forgotten who makes it.
The sentiment is from The Angel Company called tag tidbits. I started to make this card to showcase all the really cute Halloween digital images available over at TDS, but this one could be used for an anniversary or Valentine card...TeeHee!

Thinking of you....
Hey everyone! I've been a little under the weather lately with the stomach flu and haven't had the energy to post. So, now that I'm feeling a bit better, here's something......
Again, a clean and simple one! All stamps and supplies are from The Angel Company.
The flower is from watercolor plants and is colored with a marker and huffed on. The ribbon is white satin and the bow is tied with the bow easy!
I really like the watercolor plants stamp set as it is so versatile! I'll be showing you a pendant I made a while back ago using this same stamp soon!
Off to take some more pepto - which I've been living off of for the last two days! Thank goodness they make it in tablet form now!

TDS Showcase Showdown
Happy Wednesday! Here is the latest Halloween image from The Digi Shack.
When I saw this guy I immediately thought of the Addams family and Lurch! Not that Lurch was hump backed or anything, but that's the image that I got into my head and that's what my sentiment came around to! Do you remember the old B&W TV series with John Astin as Gomez? I watched this in reruns along with the Munsters after school growing up.
Anyway, Lurch is colored with Copic markers and the sentiment is done with snap stamps. The green cardstock is ran through the polka dot embossing folder from PC and I have no idea where I got that cool black dp in the back ground.
This image is available over at The Digi Shack with many other Halloween inspired images. Link is over on the right side bar.

Life is better
Hello everyone! Were you busy making cards for National Card Making day yesterday? I saw some pretty spectacular cards being posted in blogs and on SCS. Here's one that I completed.
The stamps are from the PTI set Embellishments. The swirl is stamped in Palette vintage creme ink on ivory card stock and the sentiment is done in Palette Noir. I heat embossed both with clear embossing powder.
The designer paper is from Once upon a time from DCWV. I layered the ivory main panel with burgandy and black cardstock and left enough room to tie on some ivory satin ribbon. Bow is tied using the bow easy and I added some black rhinestones to bling it up at bit.
