Soaring by to say Hi

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to the following sketch.

Clouds are created using Memento sky ink and a stencil. Airplane is colored with Copic's. I used blue cardstock for the stripes and kept this as clean and simple as I could to use for a masculine card.

Be the best you can be

Hello. Playing in the Card Concept photo challenge today of rustic blooms.

Flower stamp is from Technique Tuesday's Greenhouse society. Colored with Copic's. The glass jar stamp is from Papetrey, Ink as is the sentiment.

I kept this as clean and simple as I could so that the flowers stand out as the focal point.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello, spring

Hello!  Playing in the TGIF Challenge of card in a box today.

I used the Lawn Fawn scalloped box die as the base for this.  The back of the box disappeared in the background in this photo. Sorry about that, it's dark and gloomy here today.

Cut out 5 tulips and colored them with Copic's. (tip, color both sides) and used thin double sided tape to adhere them. I have no idea who makes this die, tried to find it on numerous websites. I think it might be retired. I really don't like the white accent dots that I put on the tulips now. Grr...Oh, well. It is what it is.

Grass die is from Hero Arts. It is also colored with Copic's on both sides. The Hello is from My Favorite Things. Gingham paper is from A*muse.

This is very bright and spring like in real life. Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday balloons

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

Balloon dies are from Elizabeth Crafts. I cut them out of white cardstock and then blended on some Distress Oxide colors.  Birthday sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.  Confetti discs are from Pretty Pink Posh, which I decided to add a few just for fun. Background paper is from Paper Pizazz.  Dark Navy cardstock is used as the base for this card and the layers.

Adding this into the Simon Says Stamp challenge of layer it up, as well.

Thanks for stopping in, have a wonderful day!

Just a note

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week is our ever popular Anything Goes.

Stamped in Versafine, heat embossed with clear embossing powder then colored with Copic's. I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut this out. The ribbon was white before I colored it the same color I used to do the dragonflies with.

Card measures 4x4 and here are the numbers for the stamps used.
9204-M, Water Lilies & Dragonflies
1112-E, Just A Note
