Old world Santa

Hi everyone! Here is my take on Less is More's vintage theme challenge.

Stamp is from Verses called Old World Santa. I used Versafine ink to stamp him and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I like the shine that embossing gives. Then I added just a hint of pink on his cheeks and nose with Copic markers.

Framed him up using the rectangle double stitched dies from My Favorite Things. I popped it up on the panel with skinny foam tape, then used some fun foam to add the whole thing onto a top folding white card base.

I've experimented using different embossing powders with this Santa image and they all come out fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is awesome, Laurie. I like how you´ve colored his cheeks. I´ve also used a Santa Collage Stamp for the Less is More Challenge.

Absolutely stunning Laurie. This is such a good example of how CAS and vintage can work together, and I love the effect. The hint of colour on Santa is so true to a vintage style, and then the stitched frame dividing him from the rest of the card and keeping the clean lines - perfect. Thanks so much for sharing this inspiring card with us at Less is More :)
