Water color thank you

Hello! Playing in the Less is More color challenge today and they are looking for colors that are found on a Peacock.

I used some water colors that come in a tube (purchased at Hobby Lobby, their brand) to create this. I have to tell you that I will not use these again because of the smell. YUK! They were relatively inexpensive, so they will go in the trash and I will try again with another well know brand.

Thank you die and stamps are from WPlus9.

Used the Tim Holtz marker spritzer to add some black ink dots around the water colors, then finished off with some sequins that matched the color theme.  Distressed the edges of the water color paper and added it to a black card base and called it done.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stylish and attractive card - great job with the watercolour background. The bold die and stamping look fab set against that softer wash of colours. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More :)

Love your peacock water colors you choose to do this card. I have a set of KOI - in the tubes which I love. I squirt a little in my 6 cup artist palette when it dries it up I just add a bit of water and can use them again and again. No smell.

Super background using those water colours Laurie. I made the same mistake as you in buying some cheap ones which also smelt. It sometimes is worth paying the extra for quality ones. The die cut sentiment really pops against the colours you used. Thanks for joining us at Less is More.
