Photo Inspiration at the House that stamps built

Hi everyone, it's time once again for the photo inspiration challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. Here's the photo.

I really love the colors in this photo and tried to recreate them in my card below.

3005-I, Ocracoke Lighthouse is the stamp I chose to use on this.
I used several different inks when sponging the sky for this. I ended up using a finger dauber for most of it.

Masked off the sun/moon and added some white caps to the waves using Copic Opaque white. I decided to go with a black card base so that the sky would stand out. It got lost on white.

So what are you waiting for?! Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!

Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.
