LIM week 163 - Wishing you the best

Hi everyone! Here is my take on this weeks challenge over at Less Is More. It's theme week and the challenge is masking/stenciling. Well, I did both on this card.

I cut out the flowers and leaf out of some acetate to act as my stencil. I also used the flower shape as a mask so that I could sponge in the leaves.

Sentiment and dragonfly stamp is from the set Wishing you from PTI. I added some blue glitter from Denami onto the wings of the dragonfly so that it looked sorta translucent.

After sponging on the pink lemonade ink I decided that the flowers needed a center. I stamped off the black ink once onto a piece of scratch paper so that it wouldn't be so dark. The flower stamp is again from PTI.

This ended up being a one layer card, by the way. thanks for stopping by!

Oh my gosh, how sweet is this, Laurie! Love the soft creamy colors that you've used. Makes me yearn for spring flowers to pop up! Thanks for sharing!
