If the broom fits...

Happy Halloween!  Here's one last card centered around this great holiday!

This is a digi image and colored with copic's, and the sentiment is computer generated too.

Designer paper is from KandCompany, which I matched with lime green, purple and black.

Keeping this post short today - have a great Halloween and be safe out there!

Have yourself

a merry little Christmas. Here is my card for the challenge over at Less is More. Which is to use string or twine. I chose twine.

Sentiment stamp is from Technique Tuesday. I stamped it in Versafine and then used a rectangle nestie to cut and emboss it.

The Branch die is from Poppy Stamps and comes in two sizes. It's hard to tell, but both of the sizes are used here. Red button is from American Craft.  Red and white cardstock is from PTI.

Does this card picture look blurry? I retook it several times thinking it did - but I just might need several more cups of coffee to get my eyes to focus right.

Thanks for stopping by!

Little dracula

Hi everyone! Since it's now closer to Halloween and that Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is centered around Halloween... here's a cute little guy that I colored up a while ago and been saving to post.

Digi is from Sassy Cheryl and colored with Copic's.

The black textured designer paper is from Hot Off The Press. Added some green and red to match his cape a shirt and were done. Kept this one as clean as simple as I could with the big digi image taking center stage.

Thanks for stopping by!

Shabby chic steampunk

Hi everyone! The weekend sure went fast, didn't it? Here is one of the cards that I managed to finish though!

Image is a digi from Saturated Canary and colored with Copic's.

The pink designer paper is from DCWV and the blue came from Authentique. Blue self adhesive pearls are from Kasiercraft.

I used the same color of Copic marker as I used in her dress to color up the seam binding. Once dry I gathered it up to look like pleats and secured it behind the image. I used a long rectangle nestie to cut the digi image and then layered it with dark blue cardstock.

That's it for today! Thank for stopping in!

Winter Greetings

Good Morning! Here is another kraft and red Christmas card - I just love this color combo for some reason.

Sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink and the Tree stamp is from Poppy Stamps. I made the plaid back ground using the Faux Ribbons PTI stamp set. Wild Cherry ink from MFT and Powdered Sugar ink from The Stamps of Life were used to create it.

Tag die is from Verve and I tied on a double strand of red bakers twine just so that it would stand out a bit more. All cardstock is from PTI.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Less is more - Tree theme
CAS-ual Fridays - tags and bags

Winter's wonder

Hi everyone! Here's my take on two challenges. Freshly Made Sketches #108 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is Christmas/Happy Holiday.

Stamps are from Verve and stamped in A*Muse Navy ink.

The designer paper is from K&Company and the light green cardstock is from Bazzill. I used a dauber and the navy ink to highlight the middle sentiment panel and the pennants. The snowflake in the middle is also highlighted with a bit of bling from a stardust pen.

I really like the addition of the lime green in the designer paper and tried to play that up a bit in this card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hello everyone! I've been so busy the last couple of days and time just flew by! Here's my card for the CASology pumpkin challenge!

I layered it with orange cardstock and then attached it to a dark brown card base.

G21,24,28,YG67

Mojo 315 - kraft, red and white

Hi everyone! I just bought this snowflake stencil at Impress rubber stamps today and came right home and played around with it.  This is what I ended up doing with it!

The snowflake in the center is an old $1 stamp from Michael's and the sentiment is from Verve. Both are stamped in White craft ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The stencil is done on kraft cardstock using fresh snow ink and then heat set. Sizzix embossing folder used on the back panel and the red cardstock and ribbon is pure poppy from PTI. Bow Easy used to tie the bow. Pennant trim die is from Verve.  Sketch is from Mojo Monday #315.

Have the happiest of days

Hello all! Here's my take on this week's Freshly Made Sketch. I've also added a bit a faux stitching to play along with CAS-ual Friday Challenge #117.

Sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

The butterfly die is from Memory Box and cut out using yellow and black cardstock. I used a glue stick to add the black detailed part onto the yellow body. Then popped it up with a tiny foam square so that it appears to be in flight.

The faux stitching is done using a fine tip sharpie marker and a ruler.

Challenges:
FMS #107
CFC117
Simon Says Stamp - use a rubber or clear stamp

Think pink

Good Morning! Thought I would share my Breast Cancer awareness card with you all today!

Sentiment is from A*Muse and stamped in pink lemonade fresh ink. Polka dot designer paper is from Papertrey, Ink and cut with my medium scalloped border from Lifestyle Crafts. The tag die is from Verve and that pink heart ribbon is something that I picked up at the clinic where I got my Mammogram done. Hot pink scrappers floss added to the tag to continue the think pink theme!

Ladies, if you haven't had your annual mammogram done - make an appointment and take care of you! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

White on white Christmas

Hi everyone! Here's another card for world card making day! This is for the challenge over at Less is more for the colour challenge #140 - white on white Christmas.

I used a shimmer cardstock from Papertrey, Ink for every thing on this card, including the sentiment. The snowflake dies are from My Favorite Things.

I chose to use very small sections of foam tape to pop up all the snowflakes! It was a challenge to cut them up small enough! Kaisercraft self adhesive pearls used in the center of the snowflakes.

I took pictures of this card numerous times trying to get the lighting right so that it wasn't too dark and the shimmer showed. Finally gave up and went with this one!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's the most

Happy world card making day! I've been busy making a few cards and this one is for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge this week.

Sentiment is from My Favorite Things called seasonal sentiments and it's stamped in Fresh Snow ink onto blue vellum. I really like how the vellum allows the snowflake to peak through and not be hidden by the sentiment.

The large snowflake is cut from one of the new PTI dies onto white cardstock. Designer paper is from DCWV mat stack from last year.

Thanks for dropping by, time to get back to more stamping and card making!

Wishing you

Hey all! Yep, I'm still up north and flying home on Friday. Here's another card that I scheduled to post while away.

This card is inspired by a card off of Pinterest by Manitoba Stamper.

I used my flower punches that I've had forever from EK Success on the white cardstock. I put a piece of light yellow cardstock behind it and then added the pearls for the flower centers.

I stamped the leaves in limeade from Fresh Ink and then added the sentiment. Both the leaf stamp and the sentiment are from PTI.

To make mine different from the card on Pinterest I added the butterfly, which is a die from Memory Box.

Sorry that the picture is not up to par, but it was dreary out and my lights were not cooperating! Anyway, thanks for popping in!

Greetings

Hi everyone! I'm currently in Alaska for business and it's my last trip of the year! I had to get up there before the snow starts falling because I don't drive well in the snow!

Here is another card using the Two feet deep set from PTI.

I stamped the snowshoes in Sepia Archival ink and then stamped the laces with white ink from The stamps of life. This white ink is the bomb, by the way! I highly recommend it!

I fussy cut the shoes out and then popped it up on rustic cream cardstock with foam tape. I made a double bow out of some hemp twine and glued it on. Using the new small garden sprig die from Poppy stamps, I cut out four of them and glued them onto the front of the bow. I colored three pearls using the strong red copic marker and stuck them in the middle. Love how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping in! Any comments on this one would be appreciated! It will give me something to read besides work stuff! LOL!
