3 hearts

Hello everyone! Since Valentines day is the next major holiday coming up, I thought I'd get a jump on card making now.

I used a die from Quickutz (lifestyle crafts) to cut out the hearts on the back of the kraft cardstock. Distress ink in vintage photo was daubered around the hearts to make them stand out a bit. Red polka dot designer paper is taped on between the red card base.

Pure poppy ink from Palette is used to stamp the sentiment which is from Papertrey, Ink and is all the dp and cardstock.

I like that this is clean looking, but it was not simple to line up the die three times even using a ruler and pencil! I guess I need to invest in a heart punch! (grin)

Thanks for stopping in!

Laurie - I totally LOVE this card! I'm going to probably have to case it! Great job, my friend!!! Oh, tip for lining up hearts with your die... use TWO lightly drawn pencil marks, one at the bottom of the heart and one at the top! Perfection! Hugs...
