See you later, Alligator

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well! It's sunny and 73 degree's in Anchorage, which is a heck of a lot better than at home right now! Go figure. I'll have to get some pictures taken and share with you all later. Gorgeous mountain scenery up here!

Anyway, here's a quick one using a retired Angel Company stamp.

Mr. Gator is colored using Copic markers and then I added a bit of texture to him using a stamp that looks like magic mesh. I spritzed some rubbing alcohol onto the stamp and stamped right over the top of him. You might have to click to enlarge the photo to get a good look at it. I did painstakingly cut him out and popped him up using foam tape.

Using a labels 8 die, I cut out the white background and then sponged around it (while the die was still attached to the paper) with Memento Bamboo Leaves. Bazzill green card stock is used to layer and as the card base.

I dusted off my squarish cuttlebug embossing folder to use as more texture for the back panel. It looks so much like alligator skin!

What a fun card this turned out to be for a guy or even a boy....simple and cute!

Thanks for stopping by and after while, crocodile!
