Butterfly

Hi there! I just had to get out of the Holiday card rut and make something normal! Here's my latest creation for the sketch challenge over at SCS.

The butterfly is colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. I stamped two of them, colored half of the one in back, cut out the other and then popped it up on foam tape so that it appears to be flying.

Designer paper is from Provo Craft and the green card stock colors are from the monochromatic green collection from Bazzill.

The light green is embossed with a leafy embossing folder from Quickutz. I added a piece of beige grosgrain ribbon to seperate the two panels and used some self adhesive gold pearls to add some interest.

I do have several more holiday cards to share with you all, but thought to break it up a bit! I tend to get burned out on them about half way through December! Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific day!

Supplies:
Stamp - Stampin Up! Stipple butterfly
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Prismacolored pencils
OMS
Provo Craft Designer paper - soft serenity
Green cardstock - Bazzill
Quickutz embossing folder
Reflections gold pearls
Beige grosgrain ribbon
