Butterfly Swirls Blog Hop

Greetings all! Here's another great Blog Hop for you to check out! This one uses Butterfly Swirls from The Angel Company and I have two cards to show you. One you've seen before and the other is a new one I did for the hop.

This one you've seen before as I did a sketch around it. You can find all the details here.

This one is new and I did a direct to paper polished stone technique for the back ground. I did a tutorial on this a while back and you can find it here. This time it turned out looking like the sky - too cool! The butterfly is colored with Copic Ciao markers and is cut out and popped up with foam tape. A cream satin ribbon is used for a photo corner and I layered everthing in blue card stock. I did use glossy white card stock on this so all the stamping is embossed with clear embossing powder to make sure it dried fast and didn't smear. The sentiment is from the Feel Better set.

Here are some more awesome examples for you to look at from some very talented Angels!

Both cards are beautiful! I love this stamp set so much! It's wonderful to see so many different techniques and designs being used with this set. Your background is gorgeous. I can't wait to learn how to do that!
