Card Sketch #93 - golden holiday

Hey everyone! Here's sketch #93 - measuring the normal A2 size.

I found this gold polka dot paper at Joann's the last time they were having a sale on paper. I've had the gold metallic mirror paper, like forevah, and decided to put it to use on this sketch.

I stamped both images in versamark and embossed them with gold embossing powder. Both were cut out and embossed using my nestabilities. I figured out if I add an additional piece of chipboard to my sandwich, I can emboss and cut at the same time. Which saves me the time of getting out my tan mat to run it through the cuttlebug again.

Supplies:

Present stamp - Michael's dollar bin

Sentiment stamp - Papertrey Ink

Gold mirror metallic paper

White Card stock

Gold Polka Dot paper from Joann's

Versamark ink

Gold embossing powder

Gold cord

This card looks so elegant. I am glad you mentioned that you bought that paper that way, as I thought..."How on earth did she do each polka dot"...LOL

Great card

Gorgeous paper! I have to admit, I hoard my metallic paper like it's real gold. Perhaps I need to dig it out & use it. Thanks for the inspiration. I always love your sketches & creativity.
